An Immersion into the Three Gunas
A return to the intelligence of your inner world.
An immersive exploration of Tamas, Rajas, and Sattva — the three gunas of yogic philosophy — through Kundalini kriya, breathwork, meditation, and spiritual inquiry.
Our inner experience is not separate from the forces of nature. The yogic tradition offers a framework for understanding the qualities that move through our experience: stillness and inertia, movement and desire, clarity and harmony.
But understanding these qualities intellectually is only the beginning.
Through embodied practice and guided inquiry, we explore how the gunas may express themselves within us, shaping our perception, our patterns, and our relationship with the world.
Three days. Three qualities. One deeper inquiry into the nature of your experience.

The gunas are not merely concepts to understand. They are qualities to observe.
In yogic philosophy, Tamas, Rajas, and Sattva describe three interrelated qualities of nature.
They are not fixed personality types, nor are they simply good or bad states to achieve or overcome. They offer a way to inquire into the changing qualities of our experience.
Where do we encounter inertia, contraction, or withdrawal? Where do we encounter desire, momentum, and restlessness? What allows greater clarity, harmony, and discernment to emerge?
Rather than approaching the gunas solely through theory, this immersion invites you to investigate them through the body, breath, attention, and lived experience.
The three-day journey
DAY ONE
Tamas
Stillness, inertia, and the unseen
Explore the qualities of heaviness, withdrawal, rest, and inertia. Through grounding kriya, breath, meditation, and reflection, begin to notice what happens when energy turns inward or becomes stagnant.
“What am I unable or unwilling to see when I am caught in inertia?”
DAY TWO
Rajas
Movement, desire, and the force of becoming
Explore the qualities of movement, ambition, desire, activation, and restlessness. Investigate how these forces shape attention and action, and how conscious observation can create greater choice.
“What is moving me, and what am I moving toward?”
DAY THREE
Sattva
Clarity, harmony, and discernment
Explore the qualities of clarity, balance, and harmony. Integrate your observations from the previous days and consider how greater discernment might inform the way you relate to yourself and your life.
“What becomes visible when I can observe my experience without immediately becoming identified with it?”
The practice
Knowledge enters differently when it is experienced.
This is not simply a lecture about the gunas, nor is it a conventional fitness class. Each live session brings philosophical understanding and direct practice together.
There is space for modifications, rest, and personal choice throughout the practices.
- 01Kundalini kriya and embodied practice
- Guided practice that brings each day’s quality into direct, physical experience.
- 02Conscious breathing and breathwork
- Space to notice your breath and work with it consciously.
- 03Meditation and observation
- An invitation to sit with your experience and cultivate awareness.
- 04Yogic philosophy and guided teaching
- The gunas as a living framework, explored through teaching and dialogue.
- 05Reflective inquiry and integration
- Questions that connect the practice with your own lived experience.
The deeper inquiry
Beyond the practice, a relationship with yourself.
The practices are a doorway. The deeper inquiry is how we come to know ourselves.
What shapes the way we perceive? How do desire, identification, habit, and attachment influence our experience? What might become possible when we learn to observe these movements with greater awareness?
My teaching brings embodied practice into conversation with yogic philosophy and the questions that emerge through a lived spiritual journey.
This immersion is an invitation to begin exploring those questions through your own experience — not to adopt someone else’s answers, but to develop a more conscious relationship with what you discover.
