Welcome to Musekee, where the children are grateful for the simplicity of showers, education, and the ability to play safely. Take a look into the growing vision of Sister Siami, her plans to grow her farm for further support of the children and Karen community. Then head to Kaw Thoo Lei with me to meet 387 refugee children in Myanmar.
Be the Light: Help the Karen Children
DONATE TODAY
The VISION is to build a world where every child, regardless of circumstance, has the opportunity to grow, learn, and flourish in a supportive and loving environment. Every child deserves to see the light, They are the evolution.
Why give?
Imagine being a child, your home reduced to rubble, your school torn apart by airstrikes, your family forced to flee into the unknown. This is the devastating reality for the Karen children of Myanmar, who have endured relentless military persecution, displacement, and the systematic erasure of their culture. For decades, the Karen people have been silenced, their villages burned, their voices drowned out by war. Yet, even in this darkness, there is hope.
Sister Siami has dedicated her life to bringing light to these children. Through the Hill Tribe Resource and Development Centre, she provides a sanctuary—housing, food, education, and, most importantly, love. With over 387 children now seeking refuge behind the mountains of Kaw Thoo Lei, just beyond the reach of airstrikes, this land is becoming more than just a safe haven; it is a promise of a future.
Your donation directly supports these children—helping to build school programs, provide nourishing meals, and offer the tools they need to heal and thrive. This is more than charity; it is resistance against injustice, a stand for humanity, and an investment in a generation that has the power to rebuild what has been taken from them.
The world may not hear their cries, but you can. Give today. Be their light.

At this time, the best way to support is through donations, which go directly to providing food, shelter, and education for the children. However, sharing this fundraiser and spreading awareness is another powerful way to help. Volunteers to teach english or simply visit the refuge are also always welcome! If future opportunities arise to get involved, we will share updates!

Since this is a direct fundraising effort and not yet registered as a nonprofit organization, donations are not tax-deductible at this time. However, 100% of the funds will go directly toward supporting the Karen children through Sister Siami’s work.
